Wherever possible we source locally produced products – obviously we want to support our local producers, growers and farmers however it also makes great sense. The less distance goods have to travel the fresher they are for our customers.

Local Matters
Our focus is our people and our community and we actively support them via the IGA Community Chest program.
IGA Community Chest has raised well over $96m to help local communities across Australia. To add to this impressive total, simply look out for products across our stores with the Community Chest logo on them. This logo means that we will donate a percentage of the sale to the IGA Community Chest Fund for local groups in our communities.
